BILBAO
At Easter Bilbao moves to the rhythm of “Bilbao FEST”, the festival of Basque culture and avant-garde that will flood its streets from the 5th to the 9th of April. The city will become a great festive space with interesting leisure activities and a succulent gastronomic offer. Two of the city’s most important museums will be holding an exhibition during these days, Lynette Yiadom-Boakye’s “No sunset so intense” at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, and the “BBKateak” exhibition at the Bellas Artes Museum.

VITORIA-GASTEIZ
In Vitoria-Gasteiz, you can explore the historic quarter with the many guided tours programmed to discover the Cathedral of Santa María and its walls, enjoy its museums and exhibitions, nature activities, gastronomy and wine tasting. In addition, during Holy Week, processions, masses and sacred music concerts will take place.

ZARAUTZ
Bordering the Basque coast, Zarautz has an incredible beach. During the days of Easter, from the 5th to the 10th of April, the Munoa square hosts the 21st edition of the Beer Fair with concerts, children’s activities, a mussle championship… In addition, the crafts fair organised by NAHIA begins on the 6th and on Saturday the 8th you can take part in a guided tour of a txakoli winery on Saturday the 8th of April at 12.00 noon.

HONDARRIBIA AND IRUN
In Hondarribia, the neighbourhood of La Marina, among old fishermen’s houses with a multitude of colours, invites you to taste the best pintxos and walk through its Old Quarter. During Easter Week, the Procession of Silence, on Good Friday, and the Procession of the Encounter, on Easter Sunday, take centre stage in the streets of the town. Irun also prepares for these dates and offers you a visit to the Irugurutzeta mines organised for Saturday 8 April at 11:00 am.
