City-break in Bilbao, more reasons: Bill Viola and Collection Alicia Koplowitz

Viola in Bilbao Guggenheim Museum and Koplowitz in Bellas Arts Museum Bilbao

If you still do not know it as if you want to visit it again, we give you two more reasons to enjoy the city of Bilbao. And is that two of its main museums host these exhibitions:

Alicia Koplowitz Collection
Until October 23, 2017

The collection, unpublished until the present exhibition of 53 works in the Musée Jacquemart-André of Paris, is presented to be presented for the first time in our country with a wide selection of about 90 pieces. Alicia Koplowitz has formed over the last decades one of the most relevant European artistic collections. The exhibition gathers paintings dated from the 16th to the 20th century and sculptures of classical and contemporary antiquity, as well as drawings from different eras. Among the teachers of the Spanish school of the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries are Pantoja de la Cruz, Morales, Zurbaran and Arellano.

Bill Viola
