San Sebastian Big Week 2022 (Donostia-San Sebastian)
The Semana Grande Donostiarra always takes place the week of the 15th of August, from Saturday to Saturday. During these days the city dresses up and hundreds of activities take place that do not go unnoticed by anyone. The cannon fire is the starting point of the festivities, but one of the greatest expectations of the Semana Grande is the International Fireworks Competition.
Aste Nagusia 2022 (Bilbao)
Bilbao will celebrate its Aste Nagusia 2022 from 20 to 28 August, with an extensive and diverse programme of festivities.
Bilbao’s Semana Grande will host more than 100 free musical activities, for all tastes and audiences, on 8 stages spread across different parts of the city. Although not only music can be heard in Bilbao during its festivities, theatre and the performing arts will also take to the streets.
