The Street Theatre and Arts Festival, Bilboko Kalealdia, will be held from 28 June to 3 July. In its 22nd edition, the streets of the city will be filled with 58 performances by 28 Basque, national and international companies. 12 of them are Basque, as a sign of the Festival’s support to local culture. The Festival will start in Doña Casilda Park, which will be the main stage on 28, 29 and 30 June. Other venues will be the Old Town, the Arriaga Theatre square and the Bizkaia Aretoa UPV/EHU.
The performances are free, with prior reservation 48 hours before each performance, and each person can only reserve two invitations. The only performance that requires the purchase of a ticket is the show “Calor“, by Jean Philippe Kikolas, whose tickets are already on sale at a price of 3€. As a security measure in view of the current situation, entry will be staggered and access to the space where the performances will take place will be granted 30 minutes before the start of the performances. Individual seats will be allocated at the time of entry.
