This edition, the festival returns to the presence format, after the 2020 edition, which was online. Throughout the month of May, there will be competitions, concerts, recitals, popular readings… in which both local and guest poets will participate. This year, names such as Paco Ibáñez, Antton Valverde and Juana Castro, among others, stand out.
Throughout the month, different corners of the city will host youth poetry competitions, including “La esquina del verso”, which aims to encourage young people to record themselves reciting their poems. Another of the competitions is the “Centenary Poem”, in which Club Deportivo Alavés is taking part in commemoration of its 100 years of history.
