The Donosti Cup Foundation was born a clear goal that they have defended since its inception: to get young people of different races and cultures to exchange their experiences thanks to football. To do this, each year invites teams from disadvantaged or developing areas to the tournament, financing the costs of accommodation, maintenance and transport.
In total, more than 200 teams from different parts of the world meet each year in one of the best base football tournaments. Six days of intense play in which thousands of young people will fight to reach the long-held final at Anoeta Stadium.
To select the guest clubs, the different applications that are received are analyzed in advance and among them are selected those projects that have the greatest social contribution in the environment in which they live or in society in general. In this 2019 guests are Scholar Home Academy (Nepal), Mugu Team (Nepal), Oscar Foundation (India) and City of Hope (Zambia).
