Azkena Rock Festival is willing to remain the musical reference for the most rockers, and this year it does reach the age of majority. This new edition, to be held on 21 and 22 June in Vitoria-Gasteiz, will feature an important cast of bands captained by Stray Cats and the B-52s on Friday and Wilco and the Cult on Saturday. The rest of the cartel also promises a lot of rock: Tesla, Blackberry Smoke, The Living End, Lucero, Morgan, Starcrawler, Deadland Ritual, Phil Anselmo, Tropical sex Storm, Giante or outgravity among others, many of which will offer in Mendizabala their only performance in the state.
It is also necessary to take into account the programming of the Trashville, the scenario that the Azkena Rock Festival dedicates to the most crazy and explosive proposals in the form of small concert hall. Blind Rage and Violence, the Torontos, Pussycat and the Dirty Johnsons, the Courettes, the Dukes of Monterrey, the Cheating Hearts, Deadbeatz and Dollar Bill & his One Man Band, will be responsible for bringing the fun and the best rock & Roll to Mendizabala.
The festival is held in the Mendizabala enclosure, a space that shares green and asphalt, less than 10 minutes from the centre of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
