Until the end of April, and since last January 16th, it is time to live the experience of the txotx in the cider. The best gastronomy in Euskadi accompanied by seasonal cider that comes directly from the Kupelas (barrels) to the cry of “Txotx!”.
The cider are just a few minutes from Donostia-San Sebastián which can be a perfect plan. Part of the gastronomic essence of Euskadi is summarized in tasting the typical menu of cider: cod omelette, fried cod with peppers and grilled txuleta and dessert Idiazabal cheese, quince and walnuts and cider on demand. However, it should be taken into account that it is usually done standing in the cider House’s own facilities, so it is interesting to go well warm.
