This year marks the 40th edition of the Vitoria-Gasteiz Jazz Festival and as an advance programme is known.
From 12 to 16 July 2016 Mendizorrotza stage hosts major concerts returning to Vitoria-Gasteiz, as Jamie Cullum or Taj Mahal, which debuted in Spain in this festival. And also they are present musicians who tread the capital for the first time as the “preacher” and singer Bryant Jones. In addition, other artists will return to Vitoria-Gasteiz with projects and different formations like Joshua Redman, the duo of Kenny Barron and Dave Holland, or the meeting of Pat Metheny and Ron Carter.
The spectacular voice of Cécile McLorin Salvant, who after his success in 2014 Jazz XII century, closed last evening on the main stage of this edition.
Tickets and passes will go on sale in mid-March at the festival website www.jazzvitoria.com and in all centers of El Corte Inglés.
