The Itzulia will start in Vitoria-Gasteiz on 3 April.

The 2023 Tour of the Basque Country will have no time trial and no finish at the shrine of Arrate.

Next year’s edition will be held between 3 and 8 April, at Easter, between Vitoria-Gasteiz and Eibar. The race will finish in the Plaza Unzaga in the city of Eibar, after six stages.
The first day will link Vitoria-Gasteiz and Labastida. The second stage, between Viana and Leitza, will be a repeat of last year’s stage in the opposite direction. The third stage will reach Gipuzkoa and will start in Errenteria and finish in Villabona.
The fourth stage will start and finish in Santurtzi, on the Left Bank of the Nervión. The Itzulia will continue in Bizkaia on Friday 7 April, with the Amorebieta-Amorebieta stage.
For the finale, on Saturday 8th, the Tour of the Basque Country reserves its obligatory visit to Eibar, although on this occasion the organisers will not place a finish in Arrate. Both the start and finish will be in the city centre.
