The Lapurriturri Information Point, located in the Aiako Harria Natural Park and promoted by the Sustainable Development Department of the Irun Town Council, is proposing an outing on Saturday 16 July to discover the mining remains in the area.
The enclaves to be visited will be, among others, the areas of Askaingaina and Miazuri, as this mining area has been of great importance since Roman times and up to the 20th century.
Anyone interested in attending can sign up by calling 010 or via the website www.irun.org. The deadline will be open until 14 July, as long as the available places are not sold out before then.
