dFERIA is an important event for the scenic arts sector, a professional festival that organises a large number of parallel activities (presentations, à la carte meetings, business conferences, etc.) aimed at professionals in the sector.
This year dFERIA is in line with the measures adopted in the cultural field due to COVID-19, prioritising the safety of the public and artists in all the programmed activities.
The festival will feature 28 companies performing 28 shows (in 41 performances). It is important to highlight that a significant number of shows (64%) will premiere at dFERIA: five at world level (two shows will premiere their Spanish version) and thirteen in the Basque Country. By disciplines, 50% of the programme will be dedicated to dance, 39% to theatre and the remaining 11% to other disciplines.
