After the deadline, from June 21 to July 2, in which the pintxos have been tasted by all lovers of good gastronomy in the establishments of Álava, this fourth edition of the gastronomic event reaches its final phase with 24 ‘pintxos’ and establishments prepared to dispute the best prize.
The final phase, takes place today and tomorrow at Escoriaza-Esquivel Palace in Vitoria-Gasteiz, and is held in two sessions. A first, semifinal with 24 ‘pintxos’ classified today, in morning and afternoon shifts (from 10:30 to 13:00 and from 16:30 to 20:00). And a final, with the 8 classified in the semifinal, that are disputed the main prizes tomorrow, in the morning (from 10.00 to 12.30). The awards ceremony will be at 12.30.
The 4th Week of the Pintxo of Álava awards the Gold, Silver and Bronze awards to the top three finishers; The Popular Prize that determine the votes of all those who have tasted the pintxos in the establishments; The Best Pintxo of Bacalao Award and the SEA-Hospitality Award for Excellence in Service.
