The eleventh edition of the Amstel Gold Championship Basque Country Pintxos Euskal Herriko Pintxo Txapelketa, which organized the Hospitality Association of Hondarribia, already has a date of celebration. From 24 to 27 October the Kursaal Palace in San Sebastian will host, coinciding with the year of the European Capital of Culture. There will gather the best chefs of pintxos of Basque Country and Navarra.
If San Sebastian showed suggestive this year, you now have one more reason to approach these days to the city. “A proposal will be maintained pintxos in the bars, in the category “finger food” to eat with your hands, saving the essence of traditional pintxos and donostiarras banderillas. A proposal sponsored by Amstel Gold and Food Service Igartza culminating in the Basque Culinary Center”, pointed out from the organization.
This new edition was presented in Madrid at the Kitchen Club, its specialized means national, in the context of a lunch with the champions pintxos of the first ten editions and their authors: Iñaki Rodrigo “Rodaballo”, Alex Múgica, Jesús Íñigo y Nerea Sistiaga, Enrique Fuentes y Bixente Muñoz.
