David Rodriguez and Naiara Abando, the Danako Jatetxea; Angela Basabe and Felix Manso, the Gaztelumendi Antxon, and Txemi Artola, the Txoko Kattalin Amona, are the three representatives of Irun in the National Competition of Pintxos of Valladolid, to be held from 9 to 11 November in its eleventh edition.
“Aitona” pintxo will defend David Rodriguez and Naiara Abando, an elaboration which won the Image Award Pintxos Championship-more aesthetic, in the recently held X Championship Pintxos Amstel Oro 3 Euskal Herriko Pintxo Txapelketa in Hondarribia.
Angela Basabe and Felix Manso have thought local products and those who identify with Irun. Its pintxo “Batua” is made with cod liver protagonist and add tuna, ginger, onion, wrapped in a crispy cannelloni with shrimp obulato.
Meanwhile, Txemi Artola, of Amona Kattalin Txoko, debuting with own establishment in the National Valladolid, but has experience in units with Gran Sol Hondarribia.
