The Cathedral of Santa Maria de Vitoria-Gasteiz, located in the historic heart of the city, has been declared World Heritage by UNESCO, within the Caminos de Santiago del Norte. A monument, whose recent restoration inspired writers such as Ken Follett, Paulo Coelho and Arturo Perez Reverte, among others, and has also just released his renewed adjoining square.
