In many villages of the Basque Country, on the 4th of February, it is typical to go out and sing the popular folk songs in honour of this saint.

In Irun, for example, the schools, choirs, groups of friends, get together to sing in different parts of the city, wearing typical Basque costumes and with a stick which they use to mark time to the folk songs.
