The Montero House, Casa Montero, in Alameda Recalde, is another remarkable example of modernism, in a city where the tastes of the bourgeoisie opted for eclecticism, with magnificent works in this architectural style all over the Ensanche.
We will go along Colón de Larreátegui towards Plaza Jado to enjoy one of the most significant examples of this eclectic style, Ercilla 18, with three façades and designed by the first nationalist mayor of Bilbao.
We cross this plaza, passing the white lions in its centre, and take Ercilla Street.
