Bilbao

Cosmopolitan, open, welcoming, vital, elegant and modern; Bilbao combines traits of a unique and characteristic cultural heritage, with a new aesthetic in which the avant -gardeand the art coexist in its streets creating a new balanced and surprising urban landscape.

Thanks to the best architectural teams in the world, Bilbao is one of Europe’s most cosmopolitan and innovative cities. Some examples of its amazing architecture include the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, designed by the prestigious architect Frank Gehry, Iberdrola Tower, by César Pelli, Azkuna Zentroa–Alhóndiga Bilbao, by Philippe Starck, and the Isozaki Towers.

Approaching the historic centre of the city, is to venture into the famous Seven Streets, which is how the old quarter of Bilbao is known. The Arriaga Theater, the Mercado de la Ribera, the Town Hall or the Palacio de la Diputación contribute to offer an elegant and modern city. A must-stop is also the Bizkaia Bridge, better known as the Hanging Bridge, which is a World Heritage Site.
