San Antón Feast

As every year, this 17th of January, the popular raffle of San Antón will be celebrated. Since January 3rd, the Victorians have been able to make themselfs with one of 30,000 tickets with which they can win on of the ten irresistible prizes.

This traditional raffle, which began in 1781 with the aim of raising money for the residence of elderly people of San Prudencio, created as Hospice of Vitoria, will be held at 18h in the Hall of Plenary Council.

On this same date will also take place the San Antón Txiki, where two pigs of chocolate will be drawn between the schools and primary school in the city, as a way to keep this tradition alive. The end of the draw will be livened up with music from the Municipal Academy of Folklore or the fire bull.
