In March Zarautz launched its new campaign aimed at family tourism. The municipality is making a great effort to promote the family tourism segment, and soon will be certified with the TF Seal, becoming part of the Family Tourism Product Club.
This new campaign has plans specially designed to spend time with the family, and for the little ones with activities designed for them. To do this, they have created an educational and interactive game, called Marco Topo, to explore the municipality in a fun and entertaining way. The game has a paper map, stickers and a mobile application. The family goes around the places marked on the map, solves different challenges with the phone and places the sticker of each one on the map. Other plans are: “Zarautz from tree to tree” and visits to wineries with the family.
The website also offers information about places to eat and sleep, a calendar of family events in Zarautz and a children’s playground and sports areas in the municipality.
