Bilbao has taken part in the VII International Conference on Urban Planning which was held in the city of Ajman in The United Arab Emiratesand that has been focused on the concept of city of events and on the cultural, social and economic benefits for the city.
The mayor of Bilbao, Ibón Areso, explained in his conference celebrated in the inaugural day, the urban development transformation of the city during the last decades and the work done to attract many international events that have led to Bilbao becomes a cultural and urban reference, and an ideal setting for conferences worldwide.
