MUSEUM OF SACRED ART

The collection of Works of Religious Art of the Diocese of San Sebastián is housed in a building known as the Holy Family of Amara, constructed by the architect Antonio Camuñas (1962) and reconstructed by Carlos Arruti (1991). In creating this Museum, the aim was to establish a Diocesan Museum for all the Basque Country.

The collection has been arranged diachronically and traces the golden ages of religious history in the Basque Country.
